Question 1

How do I book a cleaning service?

Accepted Answer

Use our online booking page and choose For Homes or For Business. Residential clients can request an estimate, while commercial clients begin with a walkthrough. Our team reviews each request and follows up within 24 hours.

Question 2

How is pricing determined?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is provided through a personalized quote based on the size, condition, scope, and requirements of your space. A $20 plus HST Service Initiation + Logistics fee applies to every residential visit.

Question 3

What is your deposit and payment policy?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment, and the remaining balance is due when the service is complete. A valid credit or debit card must remain on file while doing business with Maidella. Available payment methods are confirmed when you book.

Question 4

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Please provide at least 72 hours' notice to reschedule, skip, add, or cancel a service. With less than 72 hours' notice, the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable. Cancellations must be sent to info@maidella.com.

Question 5

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Email info@maidella.com at least 72 hours before your appointment. We will help arrange another available date, and your deposit will be applied to the rescheduled service.

Question 6

Why is my first residential cleaning a Deep Clean?

Accepted Answer

Every first-time residential visit begins with a Deep Clean. It allows us to address buildup, establish a clear cleaning baseline, and prepare your home for efficient recurring maintenance.

Question 7

What is the difference between a Deep Clean and recurring maintenance?

Accepted Answer

A Deep Clean is a detailed top-to-bottom reset that includes areas such as walls, vents, window tracks, baseboards, and cabinet interiors. Recurring maintenance focuses on keeping that standard consistent with regular dusting, vacuuming, floor care, surface cleaning, and kitchen and bathroom sanitation.

Question 8

What recurring plans are available?

Accepted Answer

Maidella offers Essential monthly cleaning with 5% off, Signature bi-weekly cleaning with 10% off, and Signature Plus weekly cleaning with 15% off. Recurring clients also receive fresh-baked cookies on every visit.

Question 9

What is the New Member Offer?

Accepted Answer

Commit to a recurring residential plan and receive 50% off your second clean. Your first visit is still booked as a Deep Clean to establish the Maidella standard.

Question 10

How far in advance should I book residential cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Residential cleaning requires a minimum lead time of seven days. Your appointment is confirmed after our team reviews your request and you receive confirmation.

Question 11

Do you provide cleaning supplies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We bring professional cleaning supplies and equipment. We ask residential clients to provide a toilet brush to prevent cross-contamination and a two-step stool. If you prefer specific products, tell us before your visit.

Question 12

What do you not clean or handle?

Accepted Answer

We do not service infestations, black mold, chandeliers, exterior windows, smoked homes, area rugs, hand-washed dishes, fireplaces or chimneys, or heavy furniture moving. Biohazards also require a specialized provider.

Question 13

How does commercial cleaning begin?

Accepted Answer

Commercial service begins with an on-site walkthrough. We learn how your space operates, assess traffic and cleaning priorities, then provide a written scope and personalized quote.

Question 14

What types of commercial spaces do you clean?

Accepted Answer

We provide general commercial cleaning for offices, clinics, studios, restaurants, salons, and other business spaces. Every scope is customized to the facility, operating hours, flooring, and sanitation requirements.

Question 15

Can cleaning be scheduled outside business hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Commercial schedules can include evening and weekend windows so cleaning does not disrupt your operations. Final timing is confirmed during the walkthrough and quoting process.

Question 16

Will the same commercial crew return each visit?

Accepted Answer

We use consistent assigned crews whenever possible. This helps the team learn your space, follow the agreed scope, and maintain accountability from visit to visit.

Question 17

Are your cleaners insured, trained, and background checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Maidella is fully insured, and our employee-based cleaning team is trained, vetted, and background checked to meet our service and safety standards.

Question 18

What if I am not satisfied with the service?

Accepted Answer

Contact us within 24 hours of service completion. We will review the concern and return to address any area that did not meet the agreed standard at no additional charge.

Question 19

Do I need to be present during a residential cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No. You may be home or arrange access using a key, lockbox, entry code, or building contact. Please confirm the access plan before your appointment and secure valuables, fragile items, and pets.

Question 20

How should I prepare for a residential cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Please clear personal items and clutter where possible, secure pets, and make sure water and electricity are available. Share access instructions, alarm details, product preferences, and priority areas before the visit.
